Terms & Conditions

Please read the following carefully

  1. Please ensure you download the Training Manual BEFORE starting the course. You will find the download link at the top of the page at the start of the course.
  2. Please note that most of our online courses require basic computer knowledge when conducting practical training. You will need to be able to do the following:
    1. Navigate to install software specific to the course you are conducting.
    2. Be able to save files and retrieve them.
    3. Be familiar with using a mouse, specifically the functions of the left and right buttons.
  3. A computer is required to conduct practical training once you have completed the online theory.
  4. NO APPLE COMPUTERS or Tablets
    1. All software issued is Windows-based and will not function on an Apple device.
  5. Windows 8 is the minimum required operating system.
    1. Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7, and our software may not function.
  6. All online Formative Assessments (Tests) can be conducted as open-book tests.
    1. Please use your training manual as indicated in point 1 above.
  7. Formative Assessments are restricted to three attempts.
    1. If you fail to achieve the required pass rate of 80% per test following three attempts, you will be deemed incompetent to continue and have to request a course reset.
    2. A course reset will only be allowed once.
  8. DO NOT exit a test to return to a lesson; this will register as one attempt on your test. Refer to your training manual.
  9. Please ensure you have the necessary knowledge and skills of the Fire Industry before conducting the training.
    The following courses are considered entry-level and will provide you with the skills required for our training. To obtain information on the courses below, please refer to the SAQCC’s website  www.saqccfire.co.za for further details.

  10. Once you have completed your theory, please contact training@technoswitch.site to arrange for your practical session.
  11. A Purchase Order (account customers) or Proof of Payment (COD customers) must be received by the Training Department PRIOR to the practical session taking place.
  12. The booking form and a copy of your letter of completion must be sent to training@technoswitch.site for us to process the request for a practical session.
  13. Technoswitch Training will email you a Meeting Request for the practical session date that you must accept to confirm your attendance.
